Heya Guys!

December 25th, 2006

Hey hey heyyyy! Merry Christmakwanzikah!

I got lots of stuff… most noteworthy a big PayPal deposit from my kind Parents… it’s probably the most money I’ve ever gotten for Christmas ever. Hopefully I can find the self-discipline to save it until I can gather enough money for a laptop…

My brother got a Nintendo DS, which found it’s way into my hands after awhile. I have to say, it’s really really fun. All I played were the Mario mini-games, but they were pretty awesome. All taking advantage of the touch-screen, and doing a very good job of it if I do say so myself. All of the games were very addicting, my brother eventually yanked it out of my hands and hid it somewhere…

Anyway, my current projects… Right now I’m working on resurrecting a Student Server project that I actually created about a year ago. It allows students to upload files and access them anywhere where there’s an internet connection. Pretty simple stuff. I’ve found a pretty cool web-based javascript file manager that the students will be able to use… it’s pretty simple-looking, and has a lot of functionality. I’ve put together the account system and the file manager. I just need to think of some creative features to add that students may be attracted to… a few just popped into my head. Anyway, I’m hoping to get that done soon before the end of break.

Welp, hope anyone who’s reading this had a Happy Holiday.

G’bye.

Wow, I haven’t written here in awhile.

December 15th, 2006

Well, long time no see. Very long time.

Have you ever experienced hate against someone, but couldn’t do anything about it without getting in trouble? I hate that… it just increases the total amount of hate. I really want to ban somebody on the forums… but if I do that I’d

  1. Lose on of the few more active members
  2. Get everybody mad at me for the above reason
  3. Quite possibly make more people leave as a result of the two reasons above.

So, there are more consequences than advantages… therefore, unless this guy somehow gets me to hate him even more, I can’t quite do anything about it.

So that’s my post from the dead.

Yay.

Moving Complete…. sorda.

August 16th, 2006

I haven’t posted here in awhile, probably because I’ve had no internet access. Well, I made it. And today I just finished taking a math placement test. It’s kind of scary, because in the 8th grade math room, I saw shelves full of all of the math books that I have already completed the year before. I really hope I don’t have to re-do algebra…

Anyway, the new school is a lot smaller than Hudson’s. It’s not a bad thing, it could actually be a good thing. It just feels a little different. It’s pretty cool being able to bike there from my house in 2 minutes. It also starts at 8:00 rather than 6:45 like Hudson’s. :)

Haven’t made any friends yet…. It may be because I’m hiding out in the house all the time. I believe that once I start school I’ll slowly but surely start to meet people. My brother already has around 4 or 5 friends. He met all of them on the first or second day of being in the house!

The only thing I feel iffy about the new school is their website. I think it looks hideous. I hope they accept the new one I’m going to try and create for them. I’ve already started. You can see it here.

But I think everything is in place… And I’ll start to get active in the community once school starts.

Well that’s all for now.

Stuff…

June 14th, 2006

Haven’t posted here in like, ever!

Anyway, I’ve been doing a lot lately. I’ve created my new DarkStar Game System, which can be found here, and I’ve also added a bunch of games for it.

People are looking at our house often, it’s kind of weird. But we think some people are gonna buy it soon, so that’s good.

Hope to post again soon.

New Computer – Microcenter Sucks

April 17th, 2006

Well, last weekend I attempted to put together the new PC that Dad got. Unfortunatelly, I did not know that newer PCs had an extra 12 volt power supply. So we took it in, and they showed us. In the process, however, the tech guy stuck his hand in the processor fan and I heard a loud “craghghgh!”. After he showed us that, the PC was reveiled to shut down after about 15 seconds. The tech guy said to put more thermal gel on the processor and it should work. I went home, put more gel on, sat back on the fan, and turned on the computer. To my not so suprise, the processor fan would not spin. So we took it back to Microcenter, and then we got their stupid stuff.

“I’m sorry sir, but you cannot return a processor after it’s box has been opened.” Wait a second…. I can’t return a processor a week after I got it when it’s broken?!?! That’s like getting a new DVD, opening the box, and finding it broken in half, and they won’t let you return it. Then the tech manager came in and started to try and pin it on me. We started to ask how you would break an electro-magnetic processor fan.

“Well I don’t know about your son’s ability to install a processor.” he said to my dad, trying to pin it on me. It’s not like I threw it against a wall or anything, it just doesn’t work. Give us a new one! Finally after tons of crap, they gave us a new one. It doesn’t cost them a cent to send that broken fan back to Intel, they could’ve just given us a new one without all the crap they gave us. Now they just lost a customer worth thousands of dollars. I hate Microcenter.

Now I’ve just got to put together my new PC, and I’m all set. Dad’s new one is really awesome. It can run Unreal II at 1280 x 1024 at full graphics, and it still goes fast. Quake 4 also runs seamlessly. Should on my new one too ;)

New Cabinets!!! Broken.

April 13th, 2006

That’s right. Brand new cabinets, look great. Everything is well, it’s a Friday, then my brother goes, runs into a door, bends it backwards, and breaks it off its hinges. I really really really hate him for that. He’s now caused a chain reaction. Mom gets angry, Dad gets insane, we end up paying for it, and Mike, the breaker, ends up not doing any work!!! I think I may just re-buy the pantry door before dad even realizes to avoid this whole process :(

Thank God For Weekends

March 18th, 2006

I am so glad that it’s still a weekend… I love just hanging out and winding down. Unfortunatelly, Monday has to come sometime, and Sunday nights become nightmares for fear of tomorrow. On Sunday I’m gonna try and get most of my homework done so that I can relax for the rest of the day. The only problem with that plan is that I’m a huge procrastinator. I’ll probably end up finishing homework at 9PM. Ah, well. At least I have tonight free ;) .

Happy weekend everyone.
