Well, last weekend I attempted to put together the new PC that Dad got. Unfortunatelly, I did not know that newer PCs had an extra 12 volt power supply. So we took it in, and they showed us. In the process, however, the tech guy stuck his hand in the processor fan and I heard a loud “craghghgh!”. After he showed us that, the PC was reveiled to shut down after about 15 seconds. The tech guy said to put more thermal gel on the processor and it should work. I went home, put more gel on, sat back on the fan, and turned on the computer. To my not so suprise, the processor fan would not spin. So we took it back to Microcenter, and then we got their stupid stuff.
“I’m sorry sir, but you cannot return a processor after it’s box has been opened.” Wait a second…. I can’t return a processor a week after I got it when it’s broken?!?! That’s like getting a new DVD, opening the box, and finding it broken in half, and they won’t let you return it. Then the tech manager came in and started to try and pin it on me. We started to ask how you would break an electro-magnetic processor fan.
“Well I don’t know about your son’s ability to install a processor.” he said to my dad, trying to pin it on me. It’s not like I threw it against a wall or anything, it just doesn’t work. Give us a new one! Finally after tons of crap, they gave us a new one. It doesn’t cost them a cent to send that broken fan back to Intel, they could’ve just given us a new one without all the crap they gave us. Now they just lost a customer worth thousands of dollars. I hate Microcenter.
Now I’ve just got to put together my new PC, and I’m all set. Dad’s new one is really awesome. It can run Unreal II at 1280 x 1024 at full graphics, and it still goes fast. Quake 4 also runs seamlessly. Should on my new one too

My new Joomla main site is up, and it has a new cool green theme on it too.
I also changed my blog to green… just to match.
I’m trying to think of another idea for a game… ever have that feeling where you want to make something really bad, but you don’t know what to make? That’s what I’m going through. Leave a comment if you have ideas for games

That’s right. Brand new cabinets, look great. Everything is well, it’s a Friday, then my brother goes, runs into a door, bends it backwards, and breaks it off its hinges. I really really really hate him for that. He’s now caused a chain reaction. Mom gets angry, Dad gets insane, we end up paying for it, and Mike, the breaker, ends up not doing any work!!! I think I may just re-buy the pantry door before dad even realizes to avoid this whole process

Defend The City 2 Beta is out! Grab it Here.
Mind you that it is still a beta, so things are missing. Multiplayer is not even close to finished, and the master server is down, so don’t try and play it yet. Although you can try, if you want to. LAN play works fine.
Shields are still missing, I plan to have them out by the final version, and turrets also do not take damage yet.
You can find the highscore board for DTC2 Here.
Have fun!

The Defend The City 2 Beta is ready! I’m going to officially release it tomorrow.
Pretty much the only things that need done now are
- Seperate Scoreboard for Defense Mode
- Multiplayer Mode
- Shields
- Maybe a few more turrets.

I’ve been hearing more and more lately of people starting to view my blog. Which is pretty cool, since it’s kind of why I published this stuff here in the first place. The only thing I’m wondering is where are the comments?
There are no comments under my posts! In case you don’t know, to post a comment simply click on the “No comments” at the bottom of one of my posts and it will take you to a direct comment page. Just make sure the comment has to do with the actual post you’re putting it under. If you just want to contact me, then just click on “Contact Us” on my main page (http://haydenmcafee.hopto.org).
Unlike some people, I’d like to know what people think of me and my thoughts
Anyway, I’m thinking I may upgrade my main site to Joomla, since right now I’m running the old version of it, named Mambo, and this version may have open security risks and stuff like that.
I’ve opened a new site for the Machines community at http://machines.hopto.org. Hopefully this will get rid of the ads on the old hosting service it used to be on, and free up more space for mods and other things that Machines community members may make, not to mention faster speeds.
I’ve also gotten a Tribes server running succesfully here. All I needed to do was to go into SSH (Secure Shell) access, upload Tribes, and run the server. Since my web server runs on Linux, it was quite easy. I also recieved some valuable help from my web hosting provider.
Now, remember, if you have any thoughts, click the No Comments button below. Or if someone actually commented, it might say 1 comment, or however many number of comments there are.
Bye!
