Makeup Work Finished (Finally)

February 26th, 2006
I’ve finally finished up all of my makeup work (except for tech support, which I am going to finish up before the trimester ends) and I feel really relieved – although the sickness has highly affected my grade. Cs in both LA and SS :(. I’m going to have to do some extra credit or something and kick those back up to As. I really want to get good grades and get my work back to normal – I hate where this sickness has put me.

But I have learned one thing, if you are sick, get it diagnosed and fixed, and go back to school. I waited way too long to get it checked out.

Novell Login Spam

February 17th, 2006

Some idiot at school is putting spam in the login screens for our Novell servers, such as
“The Matrix has you”
“You make me want to LaLa”
“*number was here* -Radies phone number”
And lots more stuff. Whoever this guy is, I hope he gets caught soon because he’s Jeapordizing our use of Novell servers, and the use of computers. Plus it’s just plain immature.
It’s a big annoyance. Sure, the teachers are making too big of a deal out of it, but it shouldn’t be happening.

Make Up Work Is Killing My Inner Soul

February 15th, 2006
Too… much… make up work.

I’ve been sick for six days, so I believe I have the right to have at least a week to finish up all of my make up work, but my teachers seem to think otherwise. I’m swamped with make-up work, and most of the teachers don’t even realize that I have make up work from subjects other than theirs as well.

I’m hoping to get this all over-with by next Monday… so I can get back to leading a more normal, relaxing life without make up work.

P.S. Mrs. Pressler’s out to get me.

Sickness Escalated More Than Expected

February 10th, 2006
It turns out all that time I was sick I had pneumonia. For those of you who don’t know, It’s a lung infection that causes me to hack up crap and have a sore throat. Fun.I was absent a total of six days, which adds up to a lot of not-want-to-do make up work. My language arts teacher, whos name I do not care to disclose, was mean about her make up work. (The teacher is not Mrs. Radie) When I showed up on Friday, almost cured from the sickness, I asked her when I can get some rough drafts in that were due today.

“Oh, Monday at the very most! Don’t you have any done?” she said in a kind of angered tone, as if I was to magically know the due dates and have them all magically done at the very moment. This kind of p/o’d me, just because I was sick doesn’t mean I was in any way avoiding Language Arts, yet again I was asking when I could get in any of my make up work, being polite. Plus she doesn’t seem to consider that I’ve been absent for 6 days and have a ton of other homework in other subjects as well! Therefore this weekend I am officially loaded up. I’m lucky my Social Studies teacher was so nice about it. As a matter of fact every teacher was nice about it except for my first LA teacher. I’ve never really liked her…
