Weekend Went By Too Quickly

January 29th, 2006

I don’t know about you, but that weekend went by fast! Ryan’s LAN party was all but relaxing. I got locked in a room with my friend Nolan, and I had to resort to climbing through the window :-/. It was fun nonetheless, though.
I didn’t get any of my homework done except writing a journal entry. I always save my homework until the last minute. It isn’t smart, but I’m always thinking “there are so many better things to do than homework right now! I’ll have plenty of time to do it later.” Maybe I should force myself to do it right away when I get home from school? It sounds like a good habbit to practice, but an easy one to be broken.
I have a sore throat right now. It’s hard to choose whether to hope it gets worse so I don’t have to go to school tomorrow, or to hope it gets better because it hurts and is annoying. I’m thinking the second one is going to happen, but I’d prefer the first one ;).

Just a Plain Old Day

January 26th, 2006
Just a plain old day at school today. At least nothing went wrong ;). I’ve gotta get my Spanish homework done tomorrow morning though before first period or else I’m doomed :-o .

Tech Support is going OK. Car builder is frustrating though. On the newer version of it it’s almost impossible to get any speed over 122 mph. I’m going to ask to borrow the CD and get the perfect combination of parts at home.

Xbox LAN Party at Ryan’s house tomorrow night :-D , can’t wait for it. A time to relax, play Xbox, and just have some fun after that long, hard weekend.

Happy Friday.

Moving To Chicago

January 25th, 2006
There is now a 99% chance that we are going to move to Chicago this summer. All that has to happen now is that Dad has to sign the contract for the people who hired him. He’s going to be the CEO of the LakeForest hospital in Chicago. I think that’s pretty cool for him, I’m pretty proud for him. I always knew he was the best of his kind ;).

It will be a little weird, since I haven’t moved in over 7 years, but I see the move as mostly a good thing. Make new friends, contact old friends, get a new school, get a new house. Not to mention my Dad will earn more money as a CEO. So things I think will turn out for the better. Although I’m hoping my school has some good technology. Their current site sucks compared to Hudson School’s.

Plus they label their districts with numbers. :-/
Reminds me of Half Life.

Welcome to my blog!
I’ve never really done one of these before, so this is a chance so I can see how they work and maybe have a little fun with them.
